Chevrolet has big news for 2021, which involves exciting redesigns. Because of the global situation, Chevrolet has adjusted its plans for 2021, we we’ve got a recap to keep you updated on what to expect in the coming year.
The Colorado gets updated for 2021 with a redesigned grille
and tailgate. New 17-inch wheels add a rugged look. There will also be a total
of seven different exterior color options to choose from.

year is the Trailblazer. This compact SUV has a bold, modern design with an
available two-tone paint scheme.
The twelfth-generation Suburban will make its debut for the
2021 model year. Some of the most important updates include more passenger
space, improved handling, and even more ways to customize the Suburban to fit
For the 2021 model year, the Tahoe will enter its fifth
generation. This redesign will give it more passenger space, a more comfortable

The changes to these models will make them a great fit for your next family vehicle purchase. If you prefer the 2020 models, you can find them in stock for a great deal at Clements Chevrolet in Rochester, Minnesota, as we make way for the 2021 models to arrive.
The Cadillac Escalade is the golden standard for luxury
SUVs. Now, entering its fifth generation for the 2021 model year, it will
deliver even more luxury, advanced technology, and comfort than before.
One of the most noticeable changes to the 2021 Escalade is its spacious interior. It will measure about seven inches longer than the current model, which gives it more interior space for your family and their luggage. Inside, you can give the Escalade a customized look with eight interior color and trim combinations, like brandy-color upholstery with “Very Dark Atmosphere” accents.
Cadillac is adding a new engine option to the Escalade this
year. For the first time ever, it will be available with a 3.0-liter Duramax®
diesel engine. This will be in addition to the standard 6.2-liter V8 engine. So
if you want more power in your luxury SUV, this is the Escalade you want.
Another impressive addition is the industry-first 38-inch
curved OLED screen that spans most of the dashboard’s length. This screen includes
three sections: a touch screen control panel, a central cluster display, and a
16.9-inch infotainment screen.
If you want advanced safety technology, you’ll find it here.
The 2021 Escalade will come standard with Automatic Emergency Braking, HD
Surround Vision, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Pedestrian Alert, and Front
Pedestrian Braking. It will also be available with the innovative hands-free
Super Cruise™ technology that practically drives the SUV by itself.
You can find the current 2020 Cadillac Escalade here at Clements Cadillac. When the 2021 is in stock, we’ll have it too, so browse our current inventory to see what we have.
When you bought your Chevrolet, you knew it was made to
last. Keeping your ride in tip-top shape requires regular maintenance, both
inside and out. That’s why we put together this list of recommended Chevrolet maintenance
to keep your car running for years to come.
Examine the engine
Your car’s heart is its engine. Just like you’d take care of
your own heart, make sure that your vehicle’s engine is in good health. The
easiest way is to bring your car to Clements Chevrolet Cadillac for oil changes
every 3,000 miles or so. If it’s been a while since a certified professional
gave your vehicle a once over, schedule an appointment for an inspection and
evaluation by our certified specialists.
Freshen the filters
While you’ve been driving your Trax back and forth to work,
its air and fuel filters have been shielding vital systems from potentially
harmful particulates. To make sure they keep functioning and don’t negatively
impact performance, you should change the air filters every 15,000-30,000
miles, and the fuel filter every 30,000 miles.
Replace the tires
It can be easy to take your tires for granted, but they’re one of the most important components of your Chevy. It’s recommended that you rotate your tires every 5,000-8,000 miles to avoid uneven wearing, and that you replace them every six years regardless of their tread depth. That way, your Equinox will be more than ready for your next adventure
Spruce up the interior
No matter how tidy you like to keep things, taking your
family on a road trip in your Traverse means risking a spill or two. If your
car could use a bit of care, spend an afternoon detailing the interior, wax and
shine the exterior, and pull lingering stains and smells from the upholstery.
To make sure that your car is in the best condition possible, schedule a service appointment with Clements Chevrolet Cadillac today. We’ll inspect and fix the parts that need the most attention.
When a car looks as good as your Cadillac does, it would be a shame to let it gather dust and bird droppings. With these tips, you can have some fun in the sun while making your Cadillac shine like it was always supposed to.
It may sound like a chore, but scrubbing your Cadillac is
surprisingly fun when you’re basking in the summer sun and enjoying the warm
air. Once you’ve grabbed a soft sponge and filled a bucket with a wash-wax
solution, just wipe away the mess.
Glaze, polish, and protect.
To make the Cadillac paint look like it did the day you
brought it home, polish it with a quick glaze that removes minor blemishes and
makes the material shine. To make sure that it stays that way, you can apply an
Wax and shine.
The best way to make your Cadillac shine like it’s fresh off
of the lot is to apply car wax. If you want to make your vehicle’s color pop
and appear richer and clearer, a thorough buffing and polishing necessary.
If your car needs a paint touch-up or body detailing, contact the Clements Chevrolet Cadillac service department. We can help fix your car’s appearance.
In late February, Chevrolet produced its final Impala at a Detroit factory. The Impala is going on hiatus for the foreseeable future, but the rest of the Chevrolet lineup is looking fresher than ever.
Gone, but probably
Long-time Impala fans will note that this is not the first
time the Chevrolet Impala line has gone on hiatus. There have been times
throughout its history that it’s retired and then returned with fresh appeal. Chevrolet
could revive it in a few years in a different form.
Don’t worry too much about the factory workers, as the
factory isn’t closing! Instead, it will transition to producing General Motors’
expanding line of electric trucks and SUVs, starting with the GMC Hummer EV
(set to go on sale in late 2021) and the Cruise Origin electric shuttle.
While a small number of staff will remain on-site as the
transition is underway, the remainder of the workers will temporarily transfer
to other GM factories in the area to continue working during the interim.
Chevrolet is shifting toward a more environmentally friendly
mission for its lineup. The 2020 Chevrolet Bolt leads the manufacturer’s
efforts for electric vehicles, and older Volt models are still available.
Chevrolet has partnered with Qmerit to install accredited
at-home charging stations for electric vehicles, and its myChevrolet app
includes a map of public charging stations.
Even Chevrolet’s gas vehicles will improve their fuel
economy — and with it, you’ll be spend much less filling up.
Although we will miss the Impala, you can still find some new and used ones at Clements Chevrolet Cadillac if you live near Rochester, Minnesota. We look forward to the innovative new cars coming to Chevrolet in the future.
The Cadillac media event in early March provided lots of information on upcoming Cadillac vehicles, but the mysterious Celestiq continues to be an enigma. We don’t know much about the Cadillac Celestiq yet, but here is what has been confirmed.
For journalists’ eyes
Cadillac is keeping the Celestiq under wraps for now — Cadillac
refused to allow journalists to take pictures of the Celestiq. Eyewitness
accounts describe a body similar to Cadillac’s Escala — but with some extreme
Supposedly, the Celestiq lacks side mirrors, and journalists
didn’t spot any door handles either. The Celestiq is apparently large for its
sedan class, with 23-inch wheels and a large wheelbase.
The Celestiq leverages plenty of technological splendor it
can for a luxurious appeal. Journalists reported seeing a rendering of the
Celestiq’s interior that includes an LED instrument cluster and infotainment
screen stretching across the whole dashboard, as well as touchscreens on the
backs of both front seats.
Cadillac announced that it will craft each Celestiq EV by
hand — which is fitting, as the manufacturer wants to keep the Celestiq highly
That customizability and handcrafted luxury comes at a pice:
the Celestiq is expected to retail at a base price of over $200,000. This will
make the Celestiq the brand’s most expensive retail model ever.

Cadillac announced a new goal: It’s entering the 20s with internal combustion engines (ICEs), but it wants to exit with only electric vehicles. According to Cadillac President, Steven Carlisle, the company will unveil its first all-electric SUV in China in 2021 and plans to phase out ICEs entirely by 2030.
Cadillac plans to offer an all-electric version of the
popular Escalade full-size SUV in the next few years. It may be named that or
something similar. Carlisle said that the company plans to move away from the
letter and number combination of naming vehicles and back to traditional names
for the electric offerings.
This new version of the Escalade will be Cadillac’s third
vehicle to include Super Cruise driver assist, which is similar to Tesla’s
Autopilot. Customers can current order the system on the CT6 sedan, but updates
are scheduled for the CT5 sedan and then the Escalade in 2021.
The electric vehicle offerings will appear first in China, but
the company plans to introduce an all-electric SUV to American consumers in
2023. For a time, the electric and ICE vehicles will exist side by side.
Cadillac needs to increase the battery range to 300 miles per charge before an
all-electric SUV is practical. The company is working on a new battery system
to improve mileage.
New things are coming for Cadillac for sure, but if you want to elevate your drive today come talk to us at Clements Chevrolet Cadillac.
