Soon you will be able to order a camouflage version of the Chevy Silverado 1500. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Realtree Edition combines the engineering of General Motors with the style of Realtree, a leading purveyor of camouflage gear, for a truly unique look for the popular Custom Trail Boss model.
The Realtree Edition will merge the Silverado’s Z71 Off-Road Package with exclusive graphics. The Z71 package includes a 2-in factory lift, 20-inch wheels with off road tires, heavy duty shock absorbers, rear locking differential, a 2-speed transfer case, skid plates and Chevy’s Hill Descent Control, which slows the truck down as it descends a hill, allowing you to maintain control.
Two engine choices
You will have a choice of engines in the Realtree Edition. A 5.3L V-8 engine with a 6-speed transmission will be standard, but you can order a 6.2-liter V8 that produces up to 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
What will be on the outside of the truck will be just as impressive. Realtree camouflage graphics in their Timber pattern will be displayed on the exterior of the truck and on the interior door trim. The Realtree edition will also include the black accents that are part of the Z71 package, including badging, exhaust tips, assist steps and floor liners. The liner inside the Silverado’s Durabed will also feature the Realtree logo.
